Our exclusive blend of 50% fine merino wool, 40% luxurious Brushtail possum fibre and 10% Mulberry silk. For lighter colours, we add 20% Angora and use 20% Brushtail possum fibre. Luxurious and long-lasting, this exceptional blend offers warmth without weight.

Garment Care

Cool gentle hand wash using mild wool detergent. Squeeze, do not rub. Rinse well in cold water. Normal spin. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Cool iron. Dry cleanable. Recycle or upcycle at end of life.

Ecopossum™ is an exclusive blend of fine Merino wool, luxurious Brushtail possum fibre, silk and sometimes angora. The stunning combination of Merino and Brushtail possum fibre creates featherweight softness and outstanding wearing qualities.

Garment Care:

Hand wash with care in cold water using mild wool detergent. Squeeze do not rub. Rinse well in cold water. Normal spin.

Loose Fit

This simple, casual yet elegant sweater features ‘v’ shaped garter stitch detail at the neck. Fitted sleeves and a slghtly relaxed fit through body create a flattering silhouette. It is finished beautifully with the Merinomink™ logo bar.

The chart below indicate what size garment you should order, depending on your body size. It does not represent the actual garment measurements. The fit of our garments will vary depending on the design; some are a slim fit shaped to the body, while some are a looser, straight fit that skims the body. These measurements are a general guide only.

For your bust measurement, measure around the widest part of your bust, with your arms by your side. For your waist measurement, measure around the smallest part of your waist, with your arms by your side. For your hip measurement, measure around the widest part of your hips, with your feet together.

Fabric Information

Merinomink™ is an exclusive blend of 100% natural fibres - fine Merino wool and luxurious Brushtail Possum Fibre  blended with silk for strength, and with angora added for lighter colours.

Merinomink™ is unique in that it has featherweight softness and is incredibly warm, due to the hollow structure of the Brushtail Possum Fibre, which traps air both within the fibre and in the fabric when blended with high crimp, fine Merino. The fibre has no scales, so resists pilling and has outstanding durability and excellent performance characteristics.

Garment Care

Step 1. Turn your garment inside out - this will help protect the garment's outer surface, and help maintain its new look longer.

Step 2. Gently handwash in cold water.

Step 3. Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent.

Step 4. Squeeze, do not wring. Wringing or excessive agitation of the garment will damage the fibres.

Step 5. A low to medium spin cycle in a washing machine is recommended to remove as much moisture as possible.

Step 6. Dry flat immediately. Never leave wet garments stacked on one another for any length of time.

DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. Tumble drying will cause the garment to shrink and cause unrepairable damage.
